At iChatUp, accessible from our application, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors and users. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by iChatUp and how we use it.

If you register for an account, we may ask for your contact information, including items such as name, company name, email address, and authentication details (e.g., Google profile details if logging in via Google OAuth).

When you connect your WhatsApp number to iChatUp, our local engine processes chat logs, messages, and contact details to generate AI automated responses. These messages are processed in real-time and stored locally within your workspace tenant database to maintain context for your assistant memory.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect in various ways, including to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain our Service.
  • Improve, personalize, and expand our Service.
  • Understand and analyze how you use our Service.
  • Develop new products, services, features, and functionality.
  • Communicate with you, either directly or through one of our partners, to provide customer support or updates.
  • Send verification OTP codes to confirm your identity.

3. Data Retention and Security

iChatUp implements state-of-the-art security measures to protect your credentials and data. We store your data on secure VPS servers. Since the app is built on a multi-tenant structure, your database records are scoped strictly to your tenant ID and cannot be accessed by other users.

4. Third-Party Integrations

Our chatbot relies on OpenAI APIs to synthesize replies. Message text (excluding sender names and phone numbers where possible) is sent to OpenAI's endpoints securely to retrieve AI responses. This processing is subject to OpenAI's privacy policy and data usage guidelines.

5. Your Data Rights

You have the right to request a copy of your stored business memory, clear chat logs, disconnect your WhatsApp session, or delete your account entirely. These actions can be triggered directly from the settings and dashboard panels of your workspace.
