What iChatUp is
iChatUp is an AI employee for WhatsApp. It connects to the WhatsApp number a business already uses — via the official WhatsApp Cloud API with coexistence, or by scanning a QR code — and answers every customer message in seconds from the business’s own facts, in the customer’s language. It books appointments against real availability with holds and deposits, sends payment links or QR codes and verifies the payment, captures and scores leads, writes everything to Google Sheets, runs opt-in marketing broadcasts with Meta-approved templates, and hands the conversation to a human whenever one is needed. Why it exists
Small businesses live on WhatsApp — and lose customers there every day, because a message at 11 PM goes unanswered until 9 AM, because “is Saturday free?” needs someone to check a book, because a deposit screenshot sits unverified. Software for WhatsApp mostly came in two shapes: chatbots that follow a menu, and broadcast tools that send but don’t answer. iChatUp was built as the third shape: an employee. It answers from your facts, completes the booking or the sale, and tells you what it did.
The rules we build by
- Your facts only. The AI answers from the business memory you gave it, every reply is fact‑checked against it before it is sent, and when it doesn’t know it says so and asks you.
- Honest numbers. The figures on this site are counted from our production database, shown only above thresholds, and rounded down. No borrowed logos, no invented ratings.
- Reply‑only on linked devices. A QR‑connected number never broadcasts. Marketing runs only on the official WhatsApp API with Meta‑approved templates and real opt‑ins.
- No markup on Meta. Meta bills you directly for template messages; we charge a flat subscription and show an estimate before you send.
- A human one tap away. Complaints and sensitive topics are escalated on their own; you can take over any chat and hand it back.
